Joachim Schweder Grimstvedt
Joachim's role in the lab:
Joachim is a research assistant investigating the brain-wide connectivity of the claustral complex.
Current project:
A comparative study of the monosynaptic connectivity of the claustral complex
He is using transgenic tools and rabies tracing to investigate the projection patterns of different brain regions to the claustral complex. His aim is to differentiate projection patterns to the two main subdivisions - the claustrum and the dorsal endopiriform nucleus.
